Research on Synergistic Innovation Path of Civic and Political Education and Student Management in Colleges and Universities in the New Era

Abstract

Civic and political education and student management are the core components of higher education, which provide students with the foundation of morality, ethics, and civic responsibility. However, Civic and political education and student management in the new era have undergone profound changes. Civic and political education is no longer only "moral education" in the traditional sense, but also pays more attention to cultivating students' critical thinking, innovative spirit and sense of social responsibility, and student management has experienced a change from traditional "management" to "service". Student management has also undergone a transformation from traditional "management" to "service" and "guidance". This paper will focus on the connotation, concept, and synergistic innovation path of these two fields, aiming to explore how to carry out efficient and targeted civic education and student management under the new historical conditions.
