Student Learning in Higher Education: Curriculum, Teaching, and Learning Outcomes

Special Issue Overview

How do we truly understand and enhance student learning in higher education today?

In recent years, student learning in higher education has become a central concern for educators, researchers, and policymakers worldwide. As institutions respond to rapid technological change, evolving labor market demands, and increasingly diverse student populations, it is increasingly clear that enhancing learning requires more than isolated pedagogical innovations. Instead, it calls for a coherent and evidence-based ecosystem that aligns curriculum design, teaching practices, and learning outcomes. This special issue brings together contributions that explore how such alignment can support meaningful and sustainable student learning.
