Call for Participation | Special Issue (Upcoming)

How can we effectively advance teaching, learning, and training in medical and health professions education in a rapidly evolving global landscape?

With growing emphasis on clinical competency, educational innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration, it is increasingly evident that improving medical education is no longer about isolated teaching practices—but about building an integrated, evidence-informed, and future-oriented educational ecosystem.

We are currently developing a forthcoming special issue titled:

Advances in Medical and Health Professions Education: Innovation, Practice, and Global Perspectives

 

We are particularly interested in contributions related to

  • Medical and health professions education across disciplines (medicine, nursing, public health, etc.)
  • Curriculum design, reform, and competency-based education
  • Teaching practices, clinical training, and experiential learning
  • Assessment, evaluation, and learning outcomes
  • Digital learning, AI applications, and educational technologies
  • Faculty development and leadership in medical education
  • Student experience, well-being, and professional identity development
  • Global, cultural, and language perspectives in medical education
  • Other related fields
