The Interstellar Journey: Recent Discoveries and Applications of Space Science

Aim and Scope

The significance of space activities lies not only in the exploration and understanding of the unknown universe but also in the effective utilization and development of the space environment. Such exploration and utilization not only open up new fields for scientific research but also provide new possibilities for the development of human society. As an important bridge for international cooperation, space science carries the mission of utilizing space for peaceful purposes and jointly exploring the mysteries of the universe. Satellite navigation technology, as one of the representatives of modern space science and technology, has been increasingly widely used in civil and military fields, not only enhancing people's quality of life but also providing an important guarantee for national security through precise positioning and navigation services. Remote sensing technology, with its unique perspective and data acquisition capability, plays an irreplaceable role in resource investigation, environmental monitoring, and disaster assessment.

This Special issue aims to promote research and innovation in the field of air and space technology and will focus on the fields of space exploration, advanced remote sensing technology, air and space equipment manufacturing, navigation and positioning technology, etc. It will provide a cutting-edge research platform for outstanding talents in the field of air and space technology at home and abroad.

Special Issue Information

We invite experts, scholars, researchers, and enthusiasts to share their latest research results, innovative ideas, and practical experiences in the field of space science and technology. Whether you are engaged in satellite navigation, remote sensing technology, or other related fields, we welcome your contributions. Please ensure that your contributions are original, scientifically rigorous, and have certain academic value or practical guidance significance.

Potential topics for submissions include but are not limited to:

  • Drone design, control systems, navigation, sensors
  • Remote sensing,   communications, positioning technology
  • Aerospace digital manufacturing, intelligent manufacturing
  • Air traffic safety, space security
  • New energy applications and research and development in the field of aerospace
  • Interdisciplinary research in air and space science and technology

Accepted papers will be published on early access first and sent for copy editing and typesetting. Then all papers will be included in the special issue when it is published.
